IT'S SO COLD & I LOVE IT !!!!!

Hello

My goodness winter has well & truly come to town.

It is very cold & wet at the moment. I actually love the cold weather,

I could seriously live without the rain though.

Here are some pics I took at Easter time at Tinaroo Dam North Queensland.

My Sister in law and her family came to stay with us for 4 days.

It was so nice to see them because as the kids are getting older

we seem to have less and less time to visit.

My girl loves it when her Cousin comes to visit they had a ball together.

This photo does not have the greatest composition but for some reason
I love it.

Here is a pic of my girl with her cut still healing.
She has lost all the glue from her eye and the scar is healing well.

Below are a couple of pics of my niece.
They are all about me having a play on photoshop.
I don't get to do that very often. I had a ball.

It was lots of fun to havee a play and to finally use my camera.

Still trying to get out and do some landscapes and other stuff

but no can do while the weather is the way it is.
Hope to post some pics soon until then

see you in a lens.

Little Cutie!!!!

I have not been shooting much recently as I have come to a crossroads with my photography. I have decided to undertake some soul searching and figure out what road I would like to take. So until I figure that out I will just shoot what I want. So I am going to try to get out and shoot some landscapes and some animals and birds and whatever I can really. Hope to post some of those pics soon. In the meantime I attended a little birthday party for my little niece today.

Isn't she a cutie? I just love Black & White photography, there is just something simple and classy about it. It just really appeals to me.

Thanks for visiting

See you in a lens

I have been trying to get my mind back into the passion of photography and the only way to do that, I think, is to shoot for myself, you know the fun stuff the arty stuff, the stuff I like. Well I have been trying to do that and this is what I came up with.

This photo was taken on a little Canon compact digital camera from the passenger car window as my husband was driving us to town.

The following two images were also taken on the little canon. It was taken in Herberton Qld while I was on a school excursion with my daughter's class.

Love the shadows

This image was taken on my Nikon D300 with a Nikkor 105mm F2.8 Macro lens. I just love flowers and this one I grew myself.

I am hoping to find more time to photograph the things I love. I now have to do my xmas photo to send to family. Last year we were all in the photo but this year I have decided I do not want to be in the photo nor does my Hubbie so it's just my Little Miss C. Not that she minds as she loves to be the centre of attention.

See you in a lens
